Multicultural Fair

The Multicultural Fair comes once a year, and every year the whole school goes to the auditorium, from K-2 then 3-5. There are lots of countries that you can visit like Laos, Germany, Indian, and Turkey. What you do at the multicultural fair is you get to eat food from all over the world like where you live and it might be Germany, Laos, or Turkey and there’s other stuff you can do.

We do the multicultural fair because we want to share and learn about other cultures, like what kind of foods other people eat in their country.

Do you do Multicultural Day where you live? If so, how do you like it?

    Hi Caitlyn,
We don’t have an organised multicultural fair in our school, but in ways every day feels multicultural because we have students from different countries in our school.
If it is someone’s birthday we sing happy birthday to them in English, Irish, French, Spanish, Poland, Portuguese, Chinese and Russian. Last year there was a student in the class from Azerbaijan. He was an excellent ambassador for his country.
Two of the students in our class were born in the USA. They are excellent ambassadors for their country also 😉
    With every good wish
