Santa Catalina Island
Catalina is off the coast of California and it is very sunny and hot. A lot of people come to Catalina on vacation but there are a lot of islanders too. Catalina is the third largest island of 8 California’s channel island group. In 2010 there was a population of 4,000 people.
My mom and dad named me after the town of Avalon in Catalina. They met in the city of Avalon and when they had me they were not going to name me Avalon but then my grandma thought of Avalon.
I love Catalina. My favorite part of Catalina is when I am on the beach eating a caramel apple. I go out to swim to a float they have in the water. I also like the beach house but I have to share with 20 people.

That was a fantastic posts! Now that I saw your posts I want to go to Catalina. Can you tell us what things they have in Catalina, like amusement parks and other fun things like that? I think that you should write more posts because when you write one you really poll the reader in, and a lot of kids can’t do that and it amazes me that you can do it.

In Catalina there are a lot of beaches and there is a dock and a place to eat called ” Fish and chips” and me and my cousin and I always get snow cones there. I have a beach house there but i have to share with 20 people all my cousin and uncles aunts and brothers and sister. Plus it is on a hill but it is very cool! I can’t wait to go again this summer all take a lot of pictures.

I know all 20 people they are my cousins, my brothers ,sister, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa and mom! We go every year and sense it is such a small island i get to walk around alone with only my cousin that is my age. I love to go it is so much fun! Thank you for commenting.
