School uniforms are bad
Do you let your kids wear what they want to school? Well School uniforms are preventing that and there uncreative, expensive, and kids get distracted while wearing them.School uniforms are uncreative. Most School uniforms are drab, there usually black or gray. With these dull colors no one can express themselves. Not a lot of people like drab colors anyway.Can you guess how much school uniforms cost? They can cost up to $700. Retailers are being shut out of this $675 million market. Did you know that secondary schools are now $420 for a uniform and primary schools are $240. That is expensive.
Kids get distracted while wearing school uniforms. They will play with a tie or a bow during math, music, or shared reading but what happens if there wasn’t school uniforms? Kids won’t be as distracted. At recess kids will get their uniforms all dirty and get in trouble. In class when they are doing an art project, kids will get their uniforms dirty and they will get sent home to change. what if they don’t have a uniform to change in? Kids can also get distracted by what other kids are saying. what if a boy said to a girl “I don’t like what you are wearing” then later on in the day she will be thinking about this and get distracted.
Don’t be one of them that fights for school uniforms but one that fights against them. I hope you do the right thing and say no to school uniforms.
I think you have a really good point. Uniforms can dampen the spirits of students and make them less creative. I think another point of view, is that uniforms can provide equality in a school. If everyone is wearing the same clothes, then no one can be teased for their outfits. I think you’re right that the dull colors make students unenthusiastic and more sad. Some schools require uniforms, so maybe you could write ideas on how to make a uniform more personalized, like adding a scarf or a necklace. I do agree on your stance that uniforms are a negative thing. I think more articles like yours will help schools get rid of uniforms or make more relaxed uniform rules.
I agree with you that school uniforms are bad. School uniforms are stuffy, expensive, and annoying. Although, could you not also be distracted by clothes you choose? Some students choose to wear hats, bow ties, ties, bows, and other clothing items that could distract you. Students also play with their pens, pencils, erasers, and use their phones in class that will distract you. How many uniforms cost $247? Is it one, two, three? Also, cost of school and uniform depends on which school you go to. Overall I really, really, really, really, really like this. Thank you for posting this.

I agree that students should be able to express themselves! By wearing a school uniform, people miss out on the opportunity to express themselves. It limits students and doesn’t encourage creativity and confidence in what you wear. However; a counter argument would be that sometimes schools don’t want children to be judged by what they wear; sometimes students pick on each other and fight about certain styles of clothing and such. In conclusion, however, uniforms are very expensive and schools do need to take into consideration that not all families can afford spending so much money on uniforms and why would they when their children already have clothes.
