Duck life: Treasure Hunt!

Pets

You can get pets at the pet store. There’s all sorts of cool pets. There’s a cat, dog, even an apple! You start the game with 2 pets, a egg and a bat. Some are good at taking out ducks. Others are good at defending you.

Dressing Up your Duck

You can customize your duck at the beginning and in game. You can change the color, clothes, eyes, and more any time during the game. This gives you a chance to make your duck you. ( you can make a name at the beginning of the game.)

Shops

There are a few shops in the game. There’s the pet shop, the clothes shop, the power up shop , and more. These shops will help you.

Treasure/ the cave

Right, now time for TREASURE! But where do you get it? Well, on the right side of your screen is the cave. That’s where not only do you find treasure, but you also take out ducks, dodge obstacles, get coins and ancient gems, do quests, and get special rewards from eggs. Ok, time for treasure. You find treasure in the cave at certain points. I haven’t discovered them all but the ones I know are the ancient diamond, ( i forgot the 2nd thing you get), ancient bones, and the golden sheep.

Youtube

I’m not lying almost everybody has probably gone through a YouTube stage. Personally I admit that I myself am in that stage where everyday I would rush home to go on my ipad to check Youtube. But that’s not the point. The point is that I never wondered YouTube’s history or creator or any facts but it’s youtubers. So I tried doing research and this is my report about YouTube.

YouTube was created in 2005 by Paypal workers. On November 2006 Google bought Youtube for 1.65 billion dollars. YouTube is now an icon when you press the icons for Google. There are other icons such as drive, gmail, maps, and news. Headquarters is located in San Bruno CA. The founders were named Chad Hurley, Steve Chen ,and Jawed Karim. Chen and Hurley had a hard time sharing videos at a dinner party. Karim wasn’t at the party so he denied the party ever occurred. Idea struck. . . something amazing happened after the dinner party. . . YOUTUBE! Janet Jackson at the 2004 superbowl and Indian Ocean tsunami was Karim’s insparation. He had a difficulty finding clips of both videos.  YouTube’s original idea was to make a version of an online dating service called Hot or Not. Youtube’s earliest headquarters was in San Mateo CA above a pizzeria and Japanese restaurant. Youtube.com was made the domain name of YouTube on February 14 2005.

The first ever YouTube Video was titled “Me at the Zoo” of Karim at the San Diego Zoo and was uploaded on April 23 2005 and can be viewed today. Youtube was tested in May before the launch in November. The site grew quickly in fact July of 2006 was announced that Youtube came out with over 65,000 videos a day and a market share of 43 percent and 10,000,000 of video views per day. That was just the beginning because in May of 2010 there were more than 14 billion video views. In october 2006 Google had acquired Youtube for 1.65 billion in Google stock. A typical US person spends 4-5 hours on Youtube according to Wikipedia. Full episodes  of shows and movies on Youtube were meant to compete against other shows, movies, and companies.

Youtube is now a popular website that people go on for videos to laugh, dance, learn, and to have fun.

Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire Pokemon Game

Hey people! Did you ever happened to know about the game Pokemon? Well this is about this game Pokémon, about the newest game is Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.Image result for omega ruby and alpha sapphire

 This game is about a person (that’s you) is about to go on a new journey trying to get as many Pokémon as you can get. Trying to get all 8 badges beat the elite 4 and beat the champion, Steven. In this journey you will battle Team Magma or Team Aqua depending on which game you have. On the journey and battle your rival May or Branden, who will choose the type advantage against you so you get angry, depending if your a boy or a girl and Wally, who has a Gallade that mega evolves. In the time after you beat it you can battle other people online with strong pokemon and cached legendary, battle at the battle Mantion , and don’t forget to complete the pokedeck.

I know this will be a fun game and there will be fun stuff like Pokèmon Anime, supper training and listen to the Newson the Pokeradar. there are now there are super secret bases that only with the F.D.S that  the F for finding the super secret base that yours super secret base, the D for deceleration to decelerate your super secret base ,and S to share it with you friend and Aquanten by someone with share pad when your in find pad and take a picture of the  other pearson ID. Another one is going to get free stuff like stone berry and other stuff I can get once a day. These are some areas lilycove city, battle resort and others places but don’t forget to see the masters every day on the battle resort and the elite 4 and champion again.

If you want to get your brain working go to the trick house it will confuse you and your brain just find the person do the maze and get a reward and you can do that 6 times but 4 need moves,1 don’t need the move ,ok so 3 and don’t forget to get the stuff inside the maze so don’t forget it and if you do you can never see it again.

So if you got amuse with this get the game now at Gamestop, maybe Target, and other store right now! And don’t forget to also get the book Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha sapphire.

We Need More Wells in Africa

In Africa, 748 million people are living with either no water or disease filled water. What if you had to walk miles to find clean water? The water in Africa is scarce so we need to build wells near villages.

In Africa dirty water can carry diseases so if we build wells there they will have clean water close to them. The disease filled water has a chance of killing you. The dirty water causes diarrhea and this is the second most killer of kids under 5 years of age. You can get E Coli, Salmonella Typhi, Schistosoma, Cholera Vibrios, and Hepatitis A. Dirty water can cause all of those diseases.

Female children usually never get an education. Access to water is very difficult because it can be located miles and miles from the family’s village, most of the time it’s in very deep holes. The holes can be dark. Sometimes women have to bring string and a pot, they will tie the string to the pot, drop it down in the hole and bring up the water. Then they carry the 5 gallons of water on their head and bring it back to their village to keep themselves alive and their family alive. Woman and female children can’t go to school because all day they’re getting water.   Building wells will improve education for girls because they’ll actually be able to go to school.

Building wells in Africa will solve all of these problems and save a lot of peoples lives. We need to build wells but we need your help. There are people and companies that help these causes like the Thirst Project. So you can help by donating or helping this organization.

Don’t Worry, You’ll Only Feel a Small Pinch!

Would you like to get the measles?  When you are sick with measles, you get a really

high fever, a bad rash and you cough a lot.  Sound like fun?  Well, if you don’t get

your measles vaccination, this is exactly what is going to happen to you.  You can

avoid this by getting vaccinated.  I think ALL kids should get their vaccinations.

Did you know that outbreaks of measles can occur when kids don’t get vaccinations?

For example, right now there are 51 cases of measles that started in December at

Disneyland.  Ten people in San Diego are infected, and 9 of these people didn’t get

vaccinated against measles.  Measles can spread across the land as fast as wildfire.

Outbreaks can happen with lots of diseases so you had better get your vaccinations.

Kids who get diseases like measles can get very sick and die.  With measles, you can

get a fever of 106 degrees! You also get a very ugly rash that covers your body in red

dots. Would you like to have 1,000 dots on your face?  And besides that rash, some

kids can even die from measles.  One out of every four people with measles have to

be put in the hospital and some kids die even after being in the hospital.

Vaccines are safe and effective.  The measles vaccine is a great way to protect

yourself from getting measles.  Shots might hurt when you get them and your arm

hurts for a few days after.  But, the shot is safer than getting sick with measles.

People who didn’t get vaccinated and are around someone who has measles almost always get sick

So if vaccines are so safe, why doesn’t everyone get vaccinated?  Some people think

that the measles vaccine causes autism. Scientists did tests all over the world and

they did not find a link between the measles vaccine and autism!  If you’re a person

who doesn’t believe in giving your child vaccines, I suggest you trust the scientists.

Some people may still believe that vaccinations are not the safest way to go. But,

trust me, they are!   What if your only memory of Disneyland was getting sick with

measles?  Well, that’s exactly what could happen to you if you don’t get vaccinated.
